Cal Pep

1977 Cal Pep is the original cult-ingredient counter spot, the one every Barcelona restaurateur still tries to emulate. Dishes like pork and foie gras sausage over white beans with port sauce are legendary. A modern concession made by iconic owner Josep (“Pep”) Manubens Figueres is his deconstructed crème brûlée, a nod to his friend chef Ferran Adrià.
