Duchamp Eats

by Fred Morin and David McMillan, chefs
“This plate is put together by a leading Canadian artist, Peter Hoffer. He is a regular customer of the restaurant and several of his paintings hang on the restaurant walls. Together we explore the classic French relationship of restaurateur who trades food for an artist’s work. Peter offers advice, generosity and presence, and is one of the restaurant’s intrinsic qualities. He is part of the Joe Beef experience, and on this plate Peter plays a light, tongue-in-cheek homage to the artist Marcel Duchamp.”
