Ryan Guy Hashagen began his mobile ventures as a florist in 2005 selling Petals on Pedals, but quickly shifted gears to peddling paletas made by the local purveyor Paleteria y Neveria el Paisanito. Icicle Tricycle became so popular that Hashagan now focuses mostly on hired events—weddings, camps and retirement homes, where he bikes down the hallway handing out pops—but still sells in various neighborhoods for old times’ sake.
