Ocean Ave Pops; Somerville, MA

Ocean Ave Pops is a real brother-and-sister affair, as is its, well, sister operation, Union Square Donuts. Josh, Noah and Leah Danoff, along with their friend Jennifer Johnsrud, launched the bike popsicle operation in 2012, and also offer doughnuts at their farmers’ market and event appearances. The quartet produces bikeloads of tempting flavor combos (watermelon-blueberry-basil and ginger-grapefruit-mint), with some creative concoctions (unfermented beer creamsicle made as an ode to Fluff, for the festival celebrating that local marshmallow spread). “Now that was a sophisticated popsicle!” says Josh. culinarycruiser.com
