Myers + Chang; Boston

At her hip South End diner, chef Joanne Chang serves distinctive interpretations of Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes, like these super-popular lettuce-wrapped lemongrass pork meatballs, mu la lat. Groundpork is seasoned with lemongrass, shallots, fish sauce and a house-made curry blend, then bound with milk-soaked day-old bread from Chang’s Flour Bakery. The grilled balls are served with Bibb lettuce leaves, fresh herbs and house-made sweet and tangy nuoc cham dipping sauce.
