Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson makes his savory grilled meatballs with a mixture of lamb, veal and bacon as well as a little ricotta cheese to keep everything moist. As one of the most heavily requested dishes at the restaurant, the meatballs are made year-round. In spring and summer, they are served on an unconventional salad of grilled scallions with shavings of Parmigiano-Reggiano; in winter, they’re offered in a hearty San Marzano tomato sauce with cannellini beans.
