Carousel Bar, at the Hotel Monteleone, New Orleans

One of New Orleans’s most famous watering holes, this atmospheric, circus-themed revolving piano bar has 25 original hand-painted seats overlooking Royal Street. The cocktail list is heavy on drinks with a historical bent, including two types of Sazeracs; plus, there’s a Hemingway daiquiri in honor of the one-time regular.
