Pat’s Tap; Minneapolis

Named after the mom of the owner, Wisconsin native Kim Bartmann, this neighborhood hangout is big on Badger State pride (see: Packers memorabilia), vintage gaming (Skee-Ball) and beer: 20 taps and more than 138 cans, featuring craft pours like Minneapolis’s Indeed Day Tripper and the seasonal Zombie Monkie porter from the all–can Tallgrass Brewing. Chef Matt Gray’s menu is equally lively, from the bacon burger—a 50/50 blend of pork belly and ground beef—to the vegetable curry.
