Philly's top brunch spots are famous for their dedication to making everything from scratch. Most breakfast meats at the airy Café Estelle are done in house—from the pancetta for a breakfast pizza to scrapple, a regional specialty of pork scraps formed into a loaf and fried by the slice. The Southern-Jewish hybrid Honey's Sit 'n Eat makes sweet blueberry preserves to pair with its challah French toast. And Sam's Morning Glory Diner in South Philly serves Italian-style dishes like a focaccia breakfast sandwich with a savory house-made ketchup.
