This Asian teahouse in the Second Arrondissement is known for its bubble tea, a Taiwanese green or black tea with gummy pearls of tapioca. (Bubble tea is typically sipped from a fat straw so as to make room for the pearls at the bottom of the cup). Zen Zoo is a small venue with even smaller tables and chairs; however, seats by the windows make for ideal people-watching on Paris sidewalks. Lunch and dinner are also served, with spiced duck noodle soup and caramelized pork with orange rounding out the menu. A house specialty and favorite is the green tea cheesecake.
