Yank Sing
During the week, Yank Sing is a popular Rincon Center lunch spot with servers making dim sum cart rounds amidst packed tables. On weekend evenings, tables are set up in the Center’s towering atrium for elegant Chinese wedding banquets. Named an “American Classic” by the James Beard Foundation in 2009, this restaurant is the kind of place locals take out-of-towners for Saturday dim sum brunch. The soup dumplings, shu mai, and sesame balls are menu stand-bys, but entrees like the chicken and lotus root cake demonstrate Yank Sing’s creative side.
