Once a Kentucky Fried Chicken, Winona's Restaurant still caters to early birds with big appetites. The traditional American-style breakfast and lunch (think big) fuels diners headed for nearby ski slopes, although to-go orders are also welcome. The casual restaurant boasts wood decorations, tiled floor, and a giant chalkboard listing daily specials. All of the sweets, including the dinner plate-sized cinnamon roll, are baked on the premises. Traditional dishes take unexpected twists—the corned beef hash is mixed with sauerkraut, and Winona's scramble comes with crab. Fun brunch beverages are available too, like the “Manmosa,” a blend of vodka, orange juice, and champagne.
