At one end of a historic warehouse, formerly home to the Sydney Theatre Company (STC), this grand waterside restaurant brings in guests via a walkway lined with posters of past performances. The dining room has memorable views of the harbor and bridge. In the kitchen, chef Aaron Ross (formerly of Claude’s) cooks contemporary Australian food with precisely calibrated flavors. Since the STC relocated nearby, its new director, actress Cate Blanchett, has been known to stop by for a bite.
We loved: Braised pork neck with celery shavings, leeks, mushrooms and barley broth.
