Waldy's Wood Fired Pizza & Penne
Waldy Malouf, of Beacon restaurant fame, brings his innovative pizzas to Waldy's Wood-Fire Pizza and Penne in the Flatiron district. Neapolitan-style thin crust pizzas are topped with fresh ingredients – the herbs are grown in pots on the counter, awaiting the snip of scissors. Signature dishes include the wild mushrooms and red onion pizza and the mozzarella and tomato (a la vodka) penne. The restaurant has chalkboard menus and the limited seating.
