Located in the Cocoa Island Resort on the South Male atoll, the Ufaa restaurant offers of fusion of Sri Lankan, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood and local, organic produce. The menu changes daily, but Italian chef Timothy de Souza offers dishes such as tuna tartare with salad and pomegranate dressing or tandoori roasted lobster, as well as Indian and Thai dinners and seafood buffets. The restaurant is next to the infinity pool, and meals can be enjoyed under the alang-alang pavilion or on the white sands, under a simple tent, by candlelight.
