Under the leadership of executive chef Amador Mora, Trece Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar is a neighborhood favorite in Uptown. Inside the dining room, artwork from local artisans covers the raffia cream walls, and diners gather around the wenge wood tables to enjoy authentic Mexican food (not Tex-Mex!). Combing recipes learned from his mother with contemporary techniques, Chef Mora has created an innovative menu of dishes like lubina chileno rostisado con achiote, roasted Chilean sea bass with Mexican “ratatouille," and sopa de tortilla, the restaurant’s signature 13-ingredient tortilla soup.
