Town Bar & Grill
Down a few steps, into what was once Mitchell’s Wine Merchants, this underground cellar is now the location of the upscale Italian restaurant, Town Bar and Grill. Designed by John Meagher and John Flood of de Blacam and Meagher, one of Ireland’s most respected architectural firms, the space is evocative of a New York-style trattoria. The dining room boasts hand-made terracotta floors, white walls with brick accents, and a rotating exhibit of works by varies artists. Combining Irish ingredients with Italian preparations, the kitchen produces dishes like braised rabbit with lardons, young vegetables, and mascarpone mash.
