One of few Michelin-rated Indian restaurants, the one-starred Tamarind is renowned for its upscale, Moghul-inspired cuisine and extensive international wine list. Housed in a Mayfair basement, the dining room is decorated with large gold columns, antiqued mirrors, and white-clothed tables topped with red roses. A silvered two-way mirror provides vague glimpses of the kitchen, where chef Alfred Prasad and his team craft Northwest Indian dishes using a traditional tandoor.
