Bouchon's Hanalei Grill & Sushi Bar
Formerly Sushi Blues, Bouchon’s is still a sushi bar but has also added a fusion of island, Pacific-American, and French flavors. Dishes include scallop and shrimp pupus, specialty rolls, citrus and macadamia nut mahi-mahi, and steak au poivre. A cocktail menu offers tropical concoctions, chilled and hot sakes, and plum wines. Easily spotted in Hanalei’s Ching Young Village by its stylized angelfish logo outside, Bouchon’s mixes a dark-grey industrial interior with contrasting accents like potted palms and rows of natural-wood tables and chairs, all with views of the mountains and waterfalls. Live music from Thursday through Sunday is a mix of island, rock, and jazz.
