Among the reasons to visit this luxe Italian restaurant: unparalleled views of Lake Michigan, the marble-pillared space and chef-partner Tony Mantuano’s elegant Italian menu. Crudo and handmade pastas are his specialties, and the “D.O.P.” menus, which showcase ingredients from Italy’s Protected Denominations of Origin, are amazing.

We loved: Marrow- and herb-crusted filet mignon; veal agnolotti with fennel pollen and crispy veal breast.
