The South Beauty group manages over 40 restaurants across China, and the 881 outpost makes its home in two buildings: a 1930’s restored stone villa and a glass and wood building. The restaurant itself is decorated in ivory tones and glass, and the mansion feel of this 320-seat location continues with a multi-level bar and a reflecting pool with seating nearby. The primarily Sichuan cuisine includes such dishes as sautéed green beans, fish heads, and gong bao ji ding, which is better known in the United States as kung pao chicken.
