While there are many choices for dim sum in Shanghai, Soahc makes its mark with Yangzhou-influenced cuisine. Visitors must cross a fish pond to enter the two-floored building in the Xintiandi district; the high-ceilinged interior is marked by ample booths and dark-toned beams. Precisely cut and presented appetizers include lotus roots with longan, while some entrees include delicacies shark fin and abalone. The bean curd soup with bok choy and shrimp is a popular option as well. On the weekends, there is an all-you-can-eat brunch.
