Sean's Panorama
Part casual beachside diner, part locavore’s mecca, this intimate, retro-chic eatery has a deserved cult following among Sydneysiders. Chef Sean Moran and his team create weekly-changing menus of fresh, simply prepared dishes, all of which use seasonal and locally sourced ingredients (and all of which are displayed on a series of hanging blackboards above the kitchen). The results—like sorrel gnocchi served with seared scallops in fennel butter, or salad with roasted sliced duck breast, snake beans, shaved Romano, and currant grapes—are delicious.
Tip: The best way to enjoy the limited beach view is over lunch; reserve a window-side table at least a few days in advance.
