S Bar and its restaurant companion, Katsuya, are leading the resuscitation of the sketchier stretches of Hollywood Boulevard. The Philippe Starck-designed pair are bringing life (and more entrepreneurial interest) to this burgeoning neighborhood. It looks like the Moulin Rouge reimagined by Lewis Carroll, with cadelabras, upside-down lamps, TV's on the ceiling, and portraits of European aristocracy. Stick around for table-side cocktails, mixed on a cart like caesar salads at a restaurant.
