With real-estate prices skyrocketing in Rome's historic quarter, the top new restaurants are opening in other parts of town. A 10-minute drive from the city center, Nobel serves Sicilian specialties, like sardines stuffed with bread crumbs, raisins and pine nuts; they're a welcome change from the usual Roman classics.
We loved: Swordfish ragù with wild fennel.
