Known for his more highbrow eateries La Tour d'Argent and Hotel de Crillon, Chef Dominique Bouchet embraces simpler and less pricey fare in his self-named bistro located in one of Paris' most beautiful neighborhoods. This intimate restaurant, with only 40 seats, features stone walls, ebony woods, and low lighting. The short menu favors traditional French entrees alongside home-style desserts and a moderately priced wine list, which focuses on limited vintages. Can't-miss selections include the wine-marinated lamb cooked with cocoa bean and the roast sea bass atop vanilla-perfumed fingerling potatoes. The restaurant is closed on weekends and for three weeks each August.
