Raymond Restaurant
Located in an American Craftsman bungalow that housed the caretaker of a 1920's-era hotel once on the property, the Raymond serves American dishes with a sometimes-exotic touch: lingcod fish with clams and Spanish chorizo sausage, for instance, or lamb shank prepared with Moroccan spices. A number of handcrafted wines and small-batch producers populate the wine list, and the restaurant's modest-size interior is intimate, with ornately carved wood furniture and wall lamps that softly light the space. Year-round dining is available on the outdoor patio, where heat lamps and a fireplace keep diners comfortable.
