Atlanta-based chef Kevin Rathbun had over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry before opening this namesake eatery in 2005. Located in the Inman Park neighborhood, Rathbun’s dining room is designed with high ceilings, exposed brick, and industrial-style beams illuminated by large cylindrical light fixtures. Diners sit at white-clothed tables to savor selections from the New American menu which features more than 50 dishes in addition to daily specials. Options range from small plates like the roasted bone marrow to “second mortgage plates” such as the lobster and green chili taco.
