Mäster Samuelsgatan 4
Stockholm
From the May 2008 Food & Wine Go List
This bohemian spot, which opened in 1897, has been perfecting its traditional Swedish food—meatballs, crayfish soup—over the decades. The room is lined with boldly patterned Josef Frank wallpaper from Svenskt Tenn, Sweden's iconic design store.
We loved: Wallenbergare, a veal burger served with lingonberries.
