Restaurateur Stephen Starr opened this pan-Asian restaurant, designing the interior with futuristic neon-lights and cylinder-shaped dining booths called pods that seat six to 12 and illuminate with bright colors that can be changed with an inside switch. The menu has a range of Chinese dim sum like pork buns and dumplings, along with Americanized sushi such as eel and avocado rolls. The sushi bar itself has a conveyor belt, where colorful plates of nigiri and sashimi are on constant rotation. There are also a dozen Asian-infused cocktails, like the sake-based mojito or the margarita with tequila and ume (Japanese plum) puree.
