Easily identified by the black-and-white flying pig mural on the side of the building, this tiny neighborhood bistro serves traditional French fare from chef Andrey Durbach (also of La Boca and Cafeteria). Aside from one dramatic black chandelier, the 34-seat dining room is simply decorated with sparse white walls, black leather seating, and a chalkboard menu of daily specials. Signature dishes include the pan-seared foie gras, and crisp roasted chicken with garlic-parsley mashed potatoes, olive oil, lemon, and sage. The bistro also has a short but comprehensive French wine list, as well as a relatively affordable table d’hôte lunch menu.
