The Pickled Onion
With a location just two blocks from the bus station and one block from the ferry terminal, The Pickled Onion restaurant and bar serves traditional-yet-trendy dishes like macadamia-crusted brie and Asian tuna tartare. After a 2007 renovation, the restaurant’s interior is accented by detailed metalwork and contemporary paintings, while the frost-colored bar has comfortable chairs, witty drinking quotes on the walls, and creative specialty drinks like the jealous coconut cocktail. The shaded balcony offers a view of the busy Hamilton Harbor. Live music and dancing are held nightly with everything from pop to jazzy island music.
