Panormos
Protected from winds inside a deeply cut bay on the north coast of Mykonos, Panormos Beach also sports a seaside restaurant that works hard to blend into the environment with camouflage netting above, a sand floor below, and potted Mediterranean plants and palm trees between tables. In the back, hammocks and white leather sofas offer primo lounging opportunities, while waiters serve light salads and mostly seafood-based pasta alongside fruity cocktails. It’s probably best to wait, however, until after taking a bounce on the restaurant’s resident trampoline.

From the From the May 2008 Food & Wine Go List
The always-changing menu at Pane e Vino ranges from silky pecorino flan to lamb served with eggplant puree, but the biggest draw is the preset wine-and-food tasting menus (the all-fish one is outstanding). The wine list is encyclopedic and includes prized vintages such as the 2001 Vigna S. Urbano Barthenau from Hofstätter, one of Italy’s best Pinot Noirs.
We loved: Fish ravioli; roasted guinea fowl.
