From the May 2008 Food & Wine Go List
Art-world insiders have adopted this lunch-only, six-table hangout, adorned with only a few potted plants and stuffed canaries. The food is a knockout: a Mexican, Mediterranean and French roster that changes weekly and features delicious renditions of classics like poblano chiles stuffed with cheese and beans, or spaghetti with fresh tomato and basil.
We loved: Red snapper with black sesame seeds and chile de árbol.
Insider tip: The restaurant can be hard to find, since adjacent businesses share the same address, so look for the entrance with potted plants and picture windows.
