Located at the upscale Shutters at the Beach hotel, this restaurant is noted for its proximity to Santa Monica's pier and beach, both of which are visible from large windows throughout the dining room. The menu includes items like grilled octopus, American kobe steak, and Arctic Char fish with fava beans and black trumpet mushrooms. Vegetables such as black-leaf kale and parsnips can be ordered as sides. The airy, romantic feel of the the blue-on-white room is further played up with candles, an exposed beam ceiling, and large fireplace.
