The signature restaurant at Santa Monica’s Hotel Casa del Mar plays up its oceanfront location with unobstructed views of the Pacific and a seafood-centric menu. The beach-inspired interior is furnished almost entirely in white, including white walls, armchairs, lampshades, and drapes, which frame the floor-to-ceiling windows. Incorporating seasonal ingredients from nearby farmers’ markets, executive chef Jason Bowlin creates dishes like grilled octopus with black garbanzo beans and diver scallops with parsnip purée and wild mushrooms. The restaurant also serves a more Continental menu for breakfast, lunch, and Sunday brunch. Wine tastings are available at the bar.
