In this small, stone-walled dining room on the Ile St-Louis, just a short walk from Notre Dame, acclaimed chef Antoine Westermann showcases the top-notch produce of market-garden expert Joël Thiebault. The menu also has satisfying meat dishes, like meltingly tender pig's foot with oven-roasted cod, salsify and parsnips.
We loved: Warm vegetable salad with artichokes, potatoes and turnips.
Insider tip: Mon Vieil Ami is open on Sundays, when many Paris restaurants are closed.
