Milos, Athens
Located in the Hilton Athens hotel, Milos serves gourmet Mediterranean cuisine in a minimalist dining room. A large bay window admits plenty of natural light into the high-ceilinged space, which is decorated with marble floors and vases of sunflowers. May through September, additional seating is available on the outdoor patio, where potted trees and flowers brighten the all-white furniture and cloth canopy. The menu emphasizes fresh local seafood, with options including grilled octopus on fava bean purée, and lobster orzo with tomato, mozzarella, and basil. Traditional Greek dishes, such as fried eggplant with tzatziki (cucumber-yogurt sauce), also make the list.
