Lon's
Situated in a residential neighborhood near Camelback Mountain, Hermosa Inn’s flagship restaurant serves American-Southwest cuisine, using fresh herbs and produce from an on-site garden. Housed in an adobe hacienda built by cowboy artist Alonzo “Lon” Megargee in the 1930’s, the dining room is decorated with Lon’s paintings, as well as high wood-beam ceilings, wrought-iron chandeliers, and high-backed chairs upholstered with cowhide. Outside, the oak-shaded patio provides additional seating around a large fountain and fire pit. The menu changes seasonally but might include dishes like tortilla soup with roasted chicken and avocado, and mesquite-glazed duck breast with broccoli and blood-orange sauce.
