Aspen's singular ski-in/ski-out property is also its most glamorous address, thanks in part to a David Easton-designed update of the lobby, bar, and restaurant. It doesn't hurt that almost every single guest is swathed in Loro Piana cashmere and Prada skiwear, many carrying designer dogs to match their duds (the in-room pet dining menu and dog beds make it perfect for pet-porting travelers). The 92 spacious rooms are done in modern earth tones, with gas fireplaces, plasma TVs, and marble bathrooms. Many also feature balconies, though you may prefer being see at the Bar, sipping a signature Montagna Martini (apple vodka, elderberry syrup and champagne) while weighing the virtues of hedge funds. <p><strong>Tip:</strong> The hotel's First Tracks program affords guests one run up the Silver Queen gondola before it opens to the public.</p> <p><strong>Room to Book:</strong> Rooms #72, #74, #86 and #88 have balconies with great views of the slopes.</p>
