Owned by Danyel Couet and Melker Andersson of the F12 Group, Le Rouge in Gamla Stan is done in the fin de siècle Parisian-style of Moulin Rouge. The walls and ceilings are draped with thick scarlet and gold fabric, the upholstered seats and floors are red, and period pieces accent the rooms, including beaded chandeliers and fringed lampshades. Chef Marco Baudone's menu changes every month but focuses on classic French dishes with Italian touches, such as the coq au vin blanc with bacon, mushrooms, onion, and potato.
