Located in the trendy Palermo Soho district, this restaurant serves super-sized portions of Argentine steak to an often-packed house. Beef is served on wood boards, with one order ample enough for two people. Each entree comes with a handful of ramekins filled with dipping sauces and sides, like tapenade and tomatoes in guacamole, hearts of palm, and grilled provoleta (provolone cheese), an Argentinian specialty. The dining rooms are decorated in classic bistro style with a sprawl of cloth-covered tables set close together, simple wood chairs, and exposed brick walls hung with a display of framed images, plates, and other artifacts.
