A local institution, Kilauea Bakery and Pau Hana Pizza serve specialty pizzas, tropical cakes and pastries, and beverages from its espresso bar. Signature pies include the Island Stylin’ (ham, pineapple, and chipotle peppers) and the Billie Holiday (smoked ono, spinach, and roasted onion). Vegetarian and gluten-free pizza options are also available. With a white-railing porch and hanging flower baskets, the eatery is housed in one of the cottages of an old sugar plantation, now known as the Kong Lung Historic Market Center. Exotic baked goods with macadamia nuts and lilikoi (passionfruit) and coconut crème-filled éclairs are served at the counter.
