Ketch Joanne & Harbor Bar
A red neon sign with a gape-mouthed fish lights up this waterfront restaurant, which first opened beside the harbor of Pillar Point in 1975. While it specializes in pub-style seafood dishes such as rockfish tacos, Joanne's cioppino with a whole Dungeness crab, and fried calamari, other dishes include a charbroiled rib eye steak and fettucine Alfredo with smoked salmon. The dining room centers on a potbellied wood-burning stove and is decorated with driftwood and old sea photos. Breakfast and lunch are served daily. The restaurant’s Harbor Bar is known for its draft beers and flatscreen TVs.
