KB
Located in Norrmalm, Konstnarsbaren (meaning "Artist's Bar") is housed in an 1891 building designed as a late Gothic Venezian palace. Better known as KB, the restaurant was a gathering place for artists and actors and their ink portraits are still on the wall; even today, art exhibitions are held on the upper floors. The interior consists of wood floors, leather booths, and 1930's Art Deco murals of Vikings and monks. The menu focuses on Swedish "comfort food" such as a grilled fish casserole with Smogen shrimp, mussels, and vegetables or the smoked pork sausage with fermented barley.
