Established in 1986, this West L.A. restaurant specialized in authentic Persian cuisine. The dining room, designed with polished granite and etched glass, is brightened by an abundance of potted plants as well as unobtrusive live music. The main focus, however, is the traditional cuisine that includes ghormeh sabzi, an herb-infused beef stew, and koobideh kebab, a skewer of ground beef cooked over an open fire. The fruit and rice side dishes, such as the albalo polo with sweet and sour cherries, are also a must.
