Although the decor is nothing to write home about, the extensive selection of dim sum, accompanied by never-ending pots of jasmine tea, keeps the dining area bustling at the Jade Garden in Chinatown's Soho neighborhood two blocks from Piccadilly Circus. Waiters weave around the tightly packed tables with small, piping hot dishes of Cantonese favorites, such as prawn dumplings, turnip croquettes, and lobster sui-mai. Five to six plates typically are enough for a meal for two, and locals find the prices are reasonable for the city.
