Part of Glowbal Group’s ever-expanding empire (which also includes Sanafir and Coast) this downtown Italian restaurant is a popular choice for both business lunches and group dinners. Crowded and noisy on most evenings, the two-story dining room contains closely packed tables, a bustling open kitchen, and a 60-foot white marble bar. The menu includes starters such as fresh burrata cheese with prosciutto, olive oil, and sea salt, followed by entrées like spaghetti with spicy Kobe meatballs and truffle cream sauce. The bar serves specialty cocktails such as the Modena Caipirissima, made with white rum, muddled basil, and homemade strawberry compote.
