Since 1997, this Monica Blvd restaurant has been bringing contemporary Italian cuisine to West LA diners. Redesigned by Osvaldo Maiozzi in 2005, the interior now features apricot-colored leather booths, imported chandeliers and sconces, and an art deco ceiling fixture made from Italian stucco. Trained in Italy and at his father’s Villa Capri restaurant, chef Salvatore Marino creates a monthly menu based on seasonal produce and available wild, line-caught fish. Signature dishes include fantasia di crudo, the day’s selection of raw fish, and razza in padella con crema di riso di venere, skate wing over black rice risotto.
