Located in Middle Quarters at the turnoff for YS Falls, Howie’s is a casual roadside eatery housed in a long, low-slung cinderblock building. Out front, about a dozen steel cauldrons are lined up over pimento wood fires, while the interior contains white tiled floors, plain wooden tables, and bright, childlike murals.
